President Trump has signed an executive order to keep refugees from entering the country for 120 days and immigrants from seven predominantly Muslim nations out for three months. The countries affected are Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Yemen and Somalia. Trump is living up to his promises as he is "extreme vetting." No one knows for sure if the order is legal and that is the big question right now. States like New York and Boston have already granted emergency stays for citizens of the country who are detained.
I hope some of this information has helped clear your mind a little about how severe this order is and how it will affect our country for the next months to come. As citizens, we have to stay informed and to come together as one.
